Ezo 'Dumpling House' Drawing

$90.00

Ezo ‘Dumpling House’ coloured pencil drawing was part of the 'RETROSPECT’ group exhibition and pop-up store held at Shell Space from 1-2 November, 2025.

Size: approx. 21 × 15cm

Ezo is an artist who visualises traces drifting in from alternate timelines through metal. Her practice begins with an exploration of the force that constructs a world, the narrative energy that drives a story forward and the characters who generate it.

She currently observes Angela and Ekiru, beings who exist along distant and isolated temporal lines, and translates the stories they form within their own timelines into metal. In doing so, she merges their narrative remnants with material form.

These metal works carry the marks and distortions accumulated as they travel across vast stretches of time before arriving in the present world. Ezo pays close attention to the narrative warping and transformations that occur throughout this passage, and she continues to develop a practice that examines how traces from divergent timelines can be reshaped and reinterpreted through metal craftsmanship.
