uglymallrat is a Toronto-based artist who loves to doodle and sew, primarily focusing on designing new silly characters. She loves all things tiny and is inspired by trinkets, insects, virtual pets, and 2000s media.
Goobers are an intergalactic species that are round, squishy, and multiply through a mysterious process called “goobtosis” (aka goober mitosis). These lovable creatures zip around the galaxy by hitching a ride on shooting stars, zooming around in their G.F.O.s (Goobified Flying Objects), or simply floating aimlessly with other Goobers. We’re still not entirely sure what their purpose is, but that’s not really important right now. Let’s just admire their globular form and hope that they visit us one day!
