Witcat is a Brazilian artist whose creative journey began in childhood, spending hours watching stop motion animations like Wallace and Gromit, Coraline, Pingu, and Hello Kitty. From an early age, she enjoyed making her own clay pieces, toys, and miniature sets using a variety of materials.
After years of practice, she founded Witcat in 2019, developing a unique style that drew great inspiration from the world of Sanrio. a cute and delicate aesthetic with subtle expressions.
Animation and stop motion remain her greatest sources of inspiration, leading her to explore the world of stop motion herself in 2025. Her artistic influences include Ai Yazawa (Gokinjo Monogatari) and Rumiko Takahashi (Ranma ½), whose work continues to shape her creative vision.
